Customer information for statutory health insurance patients
As a statutory health insurance patient with a therapy prescription (Heilmittelverordnung) from your physician or dentist, we can provide physiotherapy treatment in our joint practice.
To ensure a smooth process, we kindly ask you to observe the following requirements:
- To avoid delays at the start of treatment due to formal errors on the prescription, please discuss all necessary prescription details with us when booking your appointment. You are welcome to send the prescription to us in advance by email or bring it in person for review.
- The prescription is valid for 28 days from the date of issue. If your first appointment in our practice takes place at a later date, please ask your physician to adjust the date of issue.
- At the latest by the start of treatment, the original prescription must be presented. If this is not the case, the appointment will be billed privately.
- Within 3 months, the treatment of a prescription covering 6 treatment sessions must be completed.
- Each attended appointment must be confirmed by your signature on the prescription on the same day.
- For each statutory health insurance prescription, a co‑payment is due in accordance with SGB V §32 para. 2 in conjunction with §61 sentence 3. This must be paid at the first appointment in the practice (cash or EC card payment is possible).
- If you are exempt from co‑payments, please bring your exemption certificate to your first appointment (further information can be found in our leaflet on co‑payments).
- If you are unable to attend your appointments, please cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled treatment time. Appointments not cancelled in time will be billed privately at the usual statutory rate.
- Please bring a towel to every treatment session. Thank you.
